FRIDAY!

We made it through another week.
The kids are asleep in their beds and I am about to go to mine. I know we are hell raisers.
Kale told me today that I was his favorite mommy and at one point told me not to cry when he moved one seat away from me at the ball game. I love him.
LEIGHTON SAID HER FIRST WORD TODAY! GUESS WHAT IT WAS!!! UP. That's right. Up. Not mom, or dad, or baba, but up. If you know Leighton though, it wouldn't really suprise ya.
Work was more or the same today but the bosses were gone so it was a little repreave. Yay for that. I realized today that I really do not want to make price tags and anwser phones until I am 4o so back to school it is. Not right now, but hopefully soon!
The Lockwood Tigers were the winners of the big basketball game in Stockton tonight. In all honesty it wasn't nearly as rough of a game as I was expecting it to be, so that was good.
I was "smart" enough to take both of the kids to the game with me tonight solo. Mistake numero uno. We were doing fine until Kale started throwing his trains under the seats of the people in front of us. I was holding Leighton and the people were nice enough to give me a hand. The pledge of allegiance was cute. Kale held his hand on his chest and looked like he was 10 freakin' years old! Geez.
Anyway, we were alright then and Kale yelled "Go Gigers", "Lets go boys", and "GO LT" for awhile and then it was half time. The Lockwood tigers had a boy get a shot off with .5 left in the first half to leave us down by one at the half.
The half, is where this got tricky for me. Solo, Kale wanted me to take him to get a "PRETZEL!" and a drink. So, here I was bobbling Leighton, a diaper bag, 3 coats, a blanket, and my wallet, all while trying to keep an eye on Kale. AAAAAHHHHH! Thank the lord for Clay Lasater. He came over and helped me with Kale and I managed to get all of the food and kids back into the gym. The second half was smooth sailing thanks to all of the "family"that we have in Lockwood.
As I stated before we won and that was a great way to end the evening.
The kids fell asleep on the way home and all I had to do was bring them in, change their clothes, and tuck them in. I love my kids and I love my husband...who just came home.
Time to go snuggle and watch King of the Hill. Romantic I know.
Goodnight all! Until tomorrow!

Thursday!

Oh my goodness it is Thursday night.
I am so glad tomorrow is FRIDAY! Money, money, money, MON-EY!
Ok-aside from that...
Today was a pretty normal start for the Raders. We got up, Kale watched Thomas and we all went our seperate ways. Luke had no exciting news from school today except that there are some ladies at his work, working out now and I need to join them. The thing is, I like to join but when it comes to working out, I don't last real long. I love sitting on the couch and eating bon bons...or gummy bears, you get the point.
I came home to a house that I would love to say smelled like baked apple pie but I cannot smell so I cant say that. I love the present that I got for Christmas from my best friend Morgan, but as soon as I got it, I could't use it. Lame.
Thank Jesus for the internet being back up. It is sad that I had a mini heart attack last night when I couldn't get the connection to work!
When I got home tonight, the kids were all wound up and Luke was off for basketball practice.
I was holding girl (Leighton) when Kale came running at me and said, "The green choo choo is mean to me!" I was a little confused but then I went into the living room and saw that his Percy choo choo was turned on and kept running into him when he was laying on the floor.
He cracks me up sometimes.
Tomorrow night is the big basketball game between my hometown team, the Lamar Tigers, and my new home, the Lockwood Tigers. All I can really say is...this is going to be ugly!~
Goodnight all. Until tomorrow!
Ok. So the internet hates me. Last night, mediacom had issues nation wide and I was not able to post as I said I would. Day 1 and I missed it. Oh well, here I am.
Yesterday started off with Luke and I missing the alarm on the alarm clock and we were awake at 8:15. Yikes! After that everything calmed down and life went along as ususal.
For once both of the kids are not sick, just mom. I hate being sick. Just stupid congestion but I feel like my head weight a ton.
Luke was practicing with his JV all-stars as he calls them last night and nothing exciting happened there. Yay...not.
So all in all, pretty easy day.
I did make Luke watch Sweeny Todd though. Ha, the man really doesn't like musicals. I LOVE THEM.
Talk to you tonight.

Day 1

Alright...I'm a blogger.
This is going to be, for me, more like a journal. You won't get to read anything gross or disturbing (sorry) but I will fill you in on my day to day happenings. I will try to post at night as I recap my day. You are sure to get a lot of filling in's on Leighton, Kale, Luke, and football. Oh, and I guess me too. So...yay for life.
Talk to you tonight!
