We made it through another week.
The kids are asleep in their beds and I am about to go to mine. I know we are hell raisers.
Kale told me today that I was his favorite mommy and at one point told me not to cry when he moved one seat away from me at the ball game. I love him.
LEIGHTON SAID HER FIRST WORD TODAY! GUESS WHAT IT WAS!!! UP. That's right. Up. Not mom, or dad, or baba, but up. If you know Leighton though, it wouldn't really suprise ya.
Work was more or the same today but the bosses were gone so it was a little repreave. Yay for that. I realized today that I really do not want to make price tags and anwser phones until I am 4o so back to school it is. Not right now, but hopefully soon!
The Lockwood Tigers were the winners of the big basketball game in Stockton tonight. In all honesty it wasn't nearly as rough of a game as I was expecting it to be, so that was good.
I was "smart" enough to take both of the kids to the game with me tonight solo. Mistake numero uno. We were doing fine until Kale started throwing his trains under the seats of the people in front of us. I was holding Leighton and the people were nice enough to give me a hand. The pledge of allegiance was cute. Kale held his hand on his chest and looked like he was 10 freakin' years old! Geez.
Anyway, we were alright then and Kale yelled "Go Gigers", "Lets go boys", and "GO LT" for awhile and then it was half time. The Lockwood tigers had a boy get a shot off with .5 left in the first half to leave us down by one at the half.
The half, is where this got tricky for me. Solo, Kale wanted me to take him to get a "PRETZEL!" and a drink. So, here I was bobbling Leighton, a diaper bag, 3 coats, a blanket, and my wallet, all while trying to keep an eye on Kale. AAAAAHHHHH! Thank the lord for Clay Lasater. He came over and helped me with Kale and I managed to get all of the food and kids back into the gym. The second half was smooth sailing thanks to all of the "family"that we have in Lockwood.
As I stated before we won and that was a great way to end the evening.
The kids fell asleep on the way home and all I had to do was bring them in, change their clothes, and tuck them in. I love my kids and I love my husband...who just came home.
Time to go snuggle and watch King of the Hill. Romantic I know.
Goodnight all! Until tomorrow!
